Well, if you have decided to delete the Facebook page that you manage then one thing you should be sure of is to have the admin rights for the page. If you are not the admin then you will not have the authority to delete the Facebook page you wish to delete.

Now for those who are the admin, and would like to know how to delete a Facebook page, well here is the thing. Deleting a Facebook page is no rocket science. All you have to do is follow these simple steps to delete your Facebook page:

Step 1: Assuming you are the admin as stated above being the mandatory requirement please open the Facebook page dashboard from where you manage your page.

Step 2: Click on the “Settings” tab on the right hand side above the cover photo of your page.

Step 3: You will see that under the General settings tab the last section is of Removing a page. You will have to click on it and follow the instructions.

Deleting your Page means that nobody will be able to see or find it. Once you click delete, you’ll have 14 days to restore it in case you change your mind. After that, you’ll be asked to confirm whether to delete it permanently. If you choose to unpublish instead, only admins will be able to see your Page.
