How to download YouTube video

All of us might have seen some great videos on YouTube, and thought if they could be downloaded. In this article you will learn how to download YouTube video in 5 simple steps. To download the video from YouTube we are using the Mozilla Firefox browser. Please follow the following easy steps:

Step 1: In the browser click on Tools and then click on Add-ons. You can also use keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + A for this purpose.

Step 2: After clicking on Add-ons you will see a search tab on the right hand side upper corner that says “Search all add-ons” in this search tab write “DownloadHelper” and enter.

Step 3: You will now see various options in the results we will however select Video DownloadHelper 4.9.22 or the latest in case of updates. Click on the install button it will take a few seconds, and will be ready to start its magic. Refer the image below for help.

Step 4: Now, open YouTube search any video of your choice in my case I have searched for Google Glass.

Step 5: Pause the video (optional), and click on the button of DownloadHelper, and select the format of video that you would like to download in ranging from HQ to Mobile to HQ 84. Here we selected Medium in MP4 format, and in a couple of seconds the video is downloaded to the system. Also read: How to delete YouTube search history

So, now you know how to download videos from YouTube. However, there is one very important thing that should be kept in mind if you want to use that content on your own videos make sure that you have permission to do so from YouTube.
